This exciting new comic blazed on to the world market to a hungry bunch of

| With their overall commander Weatherman 1 based in Skywatch, the United Nations earth orbital platform. The original team changed by the very next issue, with the introduction of Cannon and Fahrenheit. Issue 3 is the first sign of Backlash to the StormWatch team, he is their combat drill master. Though, in issue 4 Backlash shows how good he is, it also introduces Strafe (Battalion's younger brother) to the team. Also being introduced in this issue is The Warguard, one of the first SPB (Super Powered Beings) teams, these guys are bad and had been stored in cryogenic chambers. | |
| Until, they were released by a possessed member of StormWatch, Major Diana LaSalle. Possessed by the Daemonite's, an alien race that turns up in a few different comics. Issue 7, reveals to us all a detail that was part of Battalion's psychic make up, but which we, as readers, had yet to learn. Exactly what was his problem since issue 1, we find out that he was part of StormWatch Prime, the team before the current. StormWatch Prime consists of Flashpoint, Sunburst and Nautika, these members also had Battalion and Backlash in the team. Issue 8, This is the issue of surprises, it has Ripclaw (from Cyberforce) visiting the StormWatch pages and shows Rainmaker a new Gen active who ends up in the Gen 13 comic. Backlash leaves StormWatch for personal reasons, and there is a page that has a great pic of him. | |

Now The StormWatch crew did something between issue 9 and issue 10, that I don't think has ever been done before, they released issue 25. This unprecedented move, brought a world of speculation to the letters for the next year, and was a great marketing ploy. So if you want to collect the series and issue 10 seems to miss something, now you know, you should read issues 9 then 25 then 10, this explains quite a lot. |
