Volume 2, No. 7, January 1985
Pages 96-103
I realize that Paul included many birthdates in his information, but I will not include any dates for those that I do not have a death date for. Times have changed since the 1970's and this is the Internet afterall! Please email me personally for any dates that appeared in the book or the newsletters. Sorry for any inconvience that this may cause.
This newsletter contained letters from the cousins along with a page devoted entirely to lineages of family members. Also there was "news from the editor"
News from the Editor
There was a new format for the Newsletter; the editor, Paul Jorgensen, heard from Ellen Frans about obtaining a copy of The Shackletons book. Ellen is the daughter of Eleanor Stanczyk and the granddaughter of Elmer and Alma Shackelton. Paul also purchased a new computer and a program to aid with the family research. An article in the Patriot (published by the Sons of the Revolution in the State of California) appeared in the December 1984 issue about Paul's hard work on the Shackelton family lines.
