Times have changed since the 1970's and this is the Internet afterall! Please email me personally for any dates that appeared in the book or the newsletters. Sorry for any inconvience that this may cause.
This newsletter contained a picture of Earl and Ruth Lundquist Shackelton in honor of their anniversary, several pictures of Delmar Mathias Shackelton, corrections and letters from "cousins."

H.J. Shackleton letter (dated December 1977)
"I think there is a very definite tie in between the Knapp, Wisconsin Shackletons and my family. He married a Waymire from Independence (Independence Hill, Indiana. This was the original town in our county.) The date of the wedding fits with my family story of a brother coming back to see them before he went west to marry. Also the name of Abraham Shackleton's father was John as their's was. Too much coincidence?"
