			I realize that Bernice included many birthdates in her information, but I will not include any dates for those that I do not have a death date for. Times have changed since the 1970's and this is the Internet afterall! Please email me personally for any dates that appeared in the book or the newsletters. 	This newsletter contained information and a picture of Ruth and Earl Shackelton with Lord Edward Shackleton, Oscar and Bernice Shackelton attended a Shackleton Reunion in Knapp, Wisconsin and new additions to the family.


Picture Ruth and Earl Shackelton with son Roger and Lord Edward Shackleton of London. Shackleton Reunion Oscar and Bernice traveled to Knapp, Wisconsin, they picked up Earl and Ruth Shackelton along the way. The reunion was at Roert Shackleton's farm home. This family is a "unconnected" line; they come from Abraham Shackleton who homesteaded in Jewell County, Kansas. Bernice thinks there is a connection with the George Shackleton, son of Richard Shackelton, who migrated from England and homesteaded in Jewell County, Kansas (sixth division-second section pp268 in the Shackleton book) eventhough they spell their name with an el instead of the le. This possible connection could be of some interest to those that are researching the Shackelton families. If anyone has additional information, please email me so we can update the information.
