Robert Shackleton Wintermute Family
Robert Shackleton Wintermute was the oldest son and child of Peter Wintermute, Jr. and Rachel Shackleton. Robert married (1) Harriet N. Hennion, she was the sister of Mary Shackleton's (Robert's sister) husband. Robert then married (2) Margaret B. Knox, it is stated in The Shackletons book that she was the mother to three children, it is unclear if Robert was their father or not. For the purposes of this page I will include these children as Robert's. If you know of any corrections and/or updates, Please let me know. Remember to check this information with other sources.
