Richard Shackleton Family
Richard Shackleton was the second son and third child of Richard Shackleton and Mary Unknown. Richard is buried in Union Brick Cemetery, underneath a pine tree and in line with his son Richard's and his brother, Benjamin. Richard fought in the Revolutionary War, sometimes for his brother, Benjamin. He applied for and received a pension for his services on 20 September 1833. He was granted $75.00 for arrearage payments and $25.00 a month for the rest of his life.
