What
is chorus? Why is it so grand?
Chorus is a group of girls from Sacred Heart who meet to learn and perform
music for our two concerts in the Winter and Spring. Our director does a
fabulous job, and always makes things fun. Chorus is just a great place to
get together if you love to sing and make some friends.
When
do we meet?
Chorus meet on Tuesday and Thursday. These rehearsals take place from 3:00
- 4:00. Chamber Chorus also meets on these days from 4:00 to 5:00.
Who
can join?
This is the best part! ANYBODY! Some singing or consultation may be
necessary to determine your voice part, but anyone who can make the
commitment is in. And, even if your voice is not the best, we love people
with spirit. ^_^
What
is Chamber Chorus?
Chamber is a smaller, more select group than regular Chorus. We sing
challenging pieces that are hardest. For this reason, attendance is pretty
strict. We have tons of fun, and working on those songs always gives us a
sense of accomplishment. It's like a big family that happens to kick some
serious harmony butt.
