Rospa is the country where Linda grows up, and that's where Part One of Book One is set. It's very much like Scotland or Norway or Sweden or Finland, but mostly Scotland; kind of cold, rustic, and traditional. They probably do have plaid, but I haven't been focusing too much on that. They used to worship Ewoun, the sea god, but then they kind of went all atheist on him. There are some who still believe, and Linda has a kind of religious struggle, as do most Rospians. Anyways, Rospa is cold, but no Alaska, and it's rustic, wrapped in tradition, the people are kind of Scottish-Swedish looking, no red hair, though. Linda has beautiful golden hair, but her mother and most of her siblings have brown hair. I don't quite know whether her father was blond or not. He probably was.
Okay, so that's it, basically. :) More coming soon. Go back? |
