COURSE DESCRIPTION:This course explores the major themes in European history from the beginning to the 1500s. Special attentions are given toward Ancient Greco-Roman societies because of their extensive governmental, military, cultural and societal influences over Western Europe in later years.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:At the end of the semester, you should be able to identify the major periods, figures and issues of European History.
The gradings depend on your attendance, mid-term exam, and final exam. You are required to come to class.
