| I've never actually had a stocking cap (I know, weird, huh?). Since the wind is pretty darned cold up here, I decided it was high time I made myself a hat. And since I'd never made a hat before (the fatigue cap was just a big tube, it doesn't count as a hat pattern) I wanted something easy but not boring. I thought this was perfect. I used half a skein of good ol' Red Heart I had lying around. Now that I know it won't be a complete disaster, I'll have to invest in some wool for another. |
