SG-22 Mission Statement

SG-22 is a Navy unit stationed on the Poseidon (X-303). The Poseidon carries SG-22 and VFAS-221 and stays forward deployed for six to nine months at a time. Our ports are planets with a Stargate and the Poseidon. VFSA-221 provides defensive and exploratory patrols in the sector for a given period of time while SG-22 sets up temporary base operations at the gate and is sent on missions through the gate as directed. SG-22 also hosts other SG Teams who need to locate to a friendly area. Being forward deployed gives the SGC the ability to get the Posiedon, SG-22, and VFSA-221 to hot zones and to go on the offensive or if support from Earth or other allies are too far away.
