So What's Up?

Let me start off by giving out a super big thanks to everyone who came out to the final round of the Showcase Showdown. It was a great show and all of you that went got to hear a brand spankin one week old SFSE song. We would up taking 4th place over all, and that's not too shabby. There was close to 100 bands competing. Pictures from the Showcase show are now posted in the Media section. A big apology to everyone for the late cancellation on the Hub show. We will make it up to everyone and are booking a new show there as we speak. And speaking of shows there are two more confirmed shows coming up. Oct 12th and 17th. Check out hte Shows section for all the information on that. Our new recordings are just about in the complete and we will hopefully have them available for all at our upcoming shows. And last but not least, a really really big thanks to our new friends Amontillado for filing in for us at the Hub. They put on a kick ass show!! Showdown Finals!!

It's that time again so mark your calendars. August 15th is the final round of the Showcase Showdown. Show starts at 6 pm and the time we go on will be determined later on. Tickets are $8 so buy them soon. We want this place packed and our fans going nuts. We'll also have some new demos up on our site in the next few days as soon as the vocals are layed down. On a real cool note, we rejected our first contract offer the other day. That was pretty rad. Don't forget to keep on listening to our songs on www.mp3.com/SFSE and within the next day or so our very first demos will be up for kicks for you. Hope to see everyone at the Showcase


About Time

SFSE is finally going into the studio. Next Saturday we'll be heading down to a studio in San Diego to record a song for an upcoming compilation CD. We'll also try and get down some more demos for everyone to hear. Also in a few days there will hopefully be a little cool thing up on mp3.com for everyone to enjoy. So check that out soon. Also, we're trying to get some local shows booked so we'll let everyone know what's going on with that. Until then, go out and buy the new Yellowcard CD once it comes out. It rocks.

Cool Menu, Contest, and More

So I kinda took this little news thing from another website. But it's ok, cause they don't know about. That makes it ok right? Hopefully the site will start to be a lot better looking and stuff. Which brings me to the next topic. A contest!! That's right. What's at stake? We don't know yet. But it'll be good. What do you have to do? Make us a nice looking flash intro. Make your own design or use the pictures from the Media section. Also try and have there be some kind of music playing. Go to www.mp3.com/SFSE to download some songs or e-mail [email protected] and Mr. Rob will you hook you up with some sort of 30 second clip or however long you need it to be. Until then keep on keepin on. Not to forget there is a brand spankin new wallpaper for everyone to put on their desktop in the Media section, so check that out.
