MY PLATEAU APPEARS TO HAVE ENDED!!! I'm now down to 178, which means I've lost 51 pounds (I was still at 180 yesterday when I was finally able to weigh myself).
Well, Sunday was Halloween. I'm so proud of myself b/c I didn't eat ANY Halloween candy. It was kind of sad, though, to see all that candy ny nieces and nephew had, and I couldn't have any of it. However, I was a little bad. I ate 3 pinches (pinky nail size) of peanut butter fudge that I had bought for Mom at Ren Fest. It was sooooooo good - just as I remembered it.

Anyways.....
On Thursday, I went to lunch at Joe's Crab Shack with Mom and her resale shop buddies. Mom and I shared a dish, and it was sooooooo GOOD! Then, I "shopped" for clothes at the resale shop where Mom volunteers. Finally, I went to vote, which I was unable to do b/c, for some reason, I was not registered :-(

On Friday, Mom, Bella (she didn't go to daycare b/c she was sick, but she was all better by the time we left) , and I went to Katy to check out the Low Carb Superstore. They were going out of business, so everything was 50% off. I spent way too much money, but I bought several things I had been wanting to try but didn't want to pay full price for. The man that works there was very nice and knowledgeable. We also went to Katy Budget Books, which is our all-time favorite used bookstore. I bought several low carb cookbooks (Atkins, South Beach Diet, Sugarbuster, Protein Power), and spent way too much money; but not nearly as much as I would have if bought at full price :-) On the way back to Conroe, we picked up Dylan from his mom's house b/c it was Buddy's weekend to have him. I hadn't seen Dylan for almost 3 months, so it was GREAT getting to see him!

On Saturday, Mom and I had the kids (Dylan, Cayenne, and Bella), so we made it a fun day. First, the kids painted crosses. Then, they decided to paint themselves (Bella started it of course). I let them take off their clothes while painting themselves b/c I didn't want there to be paint on the clothes. Yes, OF COURSE, I go pictures :-) Next, I helped the girls get dressed in their costumes while Dylan put on his costume; Conroe was doing most of its Halloween stuff that night instead of Sunday. Cayenne was Tinkerbell, and Bella was the Sunflower Princess (I think Tricia made that one up - LOL); Dylan was the red Bionicle. After getting them dressed up, and taking pictures, we drove to Montogmery County Airport. My brother Brian has his pilots license now, so he offered to take us up for rides. It was a BLAST; the kids REALLY loved it. As soon as the plane took-off, Bella conked out (the vibrations probably put her to sleep). Before flying back to the airport near his house, Brian and Ramon (his friend) went to dinner with us. Finally, we went trick-or-treating at the Conroe Outlet Mall, but once again we got there just as the stores were closing (2nd year in a row we've done this). The kids got all their candy from the same store; the people were very nice and gave them several handfuls of candy. Fortunately, all the games stay open late, so the kids were able to play for a while. On the way home, and once we got home, I let the kids eat some of their candy. As a result, they were VERY HYPER for about an hour until the sugar high wore off, and they crashed :-) Around 11 pm, my friend Angela arrived to spend the night b/c we had plans to go to the Texas Renaissance Festival (TRF) on Sunday. She tried on several of my clothes that no longer fit. Then, she tried on the costume that I was loaning her for the next day.

On Sunday, Ryan, Angela, and I went to TRF for the day. It was so much fun, but a bit hot, esp with all the Ren Fest garb we were wearing. I definitely got my 64 ounces of water in that day :-) Also, I did PLENTY of walking. I used to work at TRF (2 years in a row), but the past 2 years I haven't had the time to work there. I kind of miss it b/c it was so much fun. While there on Sunday, we went around to all the people I used to know so that I could say "Hi." It was nice getting to see them again :-)
