How we met On the 15th September 1999, I decided to buy myself a new PC. Somewhere else in the country, a person called Sez was doing the same thing. A couple of days later I decided to use the internet, and all I knew about the internet was that you could talk to other people. I tried entering quite a lot of freeserve chatrooms, and the first one I managed to get into was a '30 Somethings' room, where there was three ladies arguing with two men, and the men were rather nasty. So, being the gentleman that I wished to be recognised as, I took the ladies� side. Coming close to three in the morning, everybody else had left, leaving me with the sweetest lady of the three. I don�t think that even she remembers what we were talking about, I just remember the conversation being great, and this being maybe the funniest female I had ever spoken to. When we said goodnight at 6:15, I looked forward to speaking to her again. We met each other a couple of times as friends, then, about 2 months later, on the 16th November, we found that it wasn�t enough being just friends. She drove about 140 miles to meet me, and to save trying to get her into the city centre, I told her to meet me at Toys�R�Us, where we had our first kiss. How We Got Engaged |
