I have many hobbies! Some might say too many.
Sewing - I have been sewing for many years. My first sewing machine was a tiny Singer that my grandparents bought for me when I was eight. When I had my first child I started sewing clothes for him. His favorite things to wear were sweats so I bought my first serger. When my daughter came along I started making dresses for her. Now that neither of my kids really want to wear something mom made I am branching out into other types of sewing. About 4 years ago I started quilting. My other favorite to sew is Malden Mills Polar Fleece.
Pets - Okay, this is getting way out of hand. We now have 2 dogs - Cocoa (German Shorthaired Pointer) and Oreo (English Setter/Shar Pei mix) - and 9 snakes - 3 Columbian Red-Tails (Bete, Kaya, Velvet), 2 Brazilian Rainbow Boas (Flinx and Pip), 1 Florida Kingsnake (Speedy) and 3 Ball Python (Peek-A-Boo, Cuddles, Feldegast). This has definitely been a learning experience.
Arts and Crafts - I like doing a lot of different hand crafts. Some of the things I've tried over the years are - Scrapbooking, Painting, Bread Dough Modeling, Beading, Rubber Stamping, Candle Making, Spinning (making yarn).
