| SEWING FOR JESUS AN OUTREACH MINISTRY OF FRIENDSHIP BAPTIST CHURCH NORTH CHARLESTON SC |
| We are a mission minded church at Friendship Baptist, and participate in many activities in sewing, crocheting, & knitting. In this ministry, we make blankets for babies and children in need of comfort that are at MUSC Hospital, which is located downtown Charleston. Through the love, and many talents of some gifted women in our church and community, we are able to turn in many blankets throughout the year. We started working with Project Linus in March, 1999. We now give our blankets to Newborns In Need who disperses them to many different locations.. |
| One of the main things that the Sewing4Jesus ministry does is make new maternity tops and dressess for the Florence Crittendon Home in North Charleston. We do this for those ladies and young girls that are in need of some help and encouragement. This ministry shows that we are supporting the fact that a new life if a precious gift from God. We are now making maternity items for the Florence Crittendon home and making baby blankets for them as well. |

| There have not been any sewing days for a while at Friendship. I will plan some as soon as I know I will have the time to put into it. We are still working on making mini blankets at home for the stuffed animals to raise money for the Romanian Widow's fund. |
