7 - Defeat

This was for a class. The assignment was to draw something that states either "the thrill of victory" or "the agony of defeat." Guess which one I picked.

Well, in a weird way, it can be both. One has to do a good deed to earn their wings, so that's a victory. But the irony is that this man can't use his wings. I tried to symbolize the space in the bottom of the page as the opportunity that this man can have.
