Here, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is only used as a tool to investigate phenomena taking place in fluid flow and the related process in a industrial process. Here, I just use CFD as a tool to investigate the fluid flow and the related processes in an industrial process equipment. Examples of my work are given in the following.

  • Single-phase flow in an stirred tank reactor

  • Particle dispersion in a stirred tank reactor

  • Particle transport and deposition in a low-pressure parallel plate chemical vapor deposition (CVD) reactor

For relatively simple geometry, I developed the CFD program by myself using Fortran. However, for the complicated cases, I use a commercially CFD code Fluent.
