Understandings Encouraging Awareness and Joy
Growing up I often heard the question, where did God come from? In my growth in Truth I have learned that He is the Beginning and the End [Revelations 1:8]. Therefore He is time and is above time, which is why it is of no importance to Him. Beginning and End is a measure of the passage of Time. We struggle with this question because we cannot understand His existence outside of time. God is Existence. He is time. His Existence is not bound by our limits in understanding. Not being able to comprehend or understand provides that His Will is above our own. His existence is eternal whereas our physical existence is not. Fear, Faith, Love, and Awareness. In my own experience I have learned that we must first fear our God and be frightened of what may happen if we disobey His command [Deuteronomy 28:58-59]. From this fear we must also learn to have Faith in His ways and seek to serve Him despite our fears for it is written: "Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness [Joshua 24:14]." This faith in His ways despite our fears illustrates a strong faith in Him. Once we begin to grow in our Faith in God and being to truly believe and follow His ways, we start to see how great He truly is and are compelled to feel true Love for our God. "Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD a man avoids evil [Proverbs 16:6]". And through this Love our awareness of His Love and His Truths in this world and through eternity begins to grow. We gain awareness of His presence in all the world and we begin to see how material distractions deter us from Truth and why He resides in those who are suffering for that is where He has commissioned us to help. In this awareness we are blessed by omnipresence of the Holy Spirit and are able to gain deeper understandings of life and situations that would otherwise be misunderstood or confusing for the Holy Spirit works through us upon our repentance of sin and faith in Jesus [Acts 2:38]. These steps are a way to gain awareness to Truth. In awareness our love grows and our fears are no longer a worry. We ultimately then only live in Love and Truth in God where our faith no longer addresses doubt that God exist, but faith that His Will is better despite our struggles.
