The reproduced Terrence Higgins Trust Safer Sex advice does not meet with the approval of the CompuServe Worldmaster! He suggests that it might use "a more medical or technical description" and that this "may prove to be less offensive". Further suggesting "Please attempt to refrain from the slang and vernacular terms which you have chosen".

I've just been handed a report off of the BBC News Computer (not this isn't for dramatic effect, I really have just been handed a piece of paper) announcing a new on-line gay service called "Pride! Universe". A collaboration between Fujitsu Software, Pride Media and, yes you've guessed it, CompuServe!!! Well, I wonder how they square that with banning safer sex information?
