THE AIDS AWARENESS RECOGNITION AWARD
My other-half and I created this award to be given out to sites that
I feel are making an important statement, about this devastating epidemic,
through the Internet. I will pick some sites of by my own choosing and
you may also nominate a site that you think is worthy. Just E-mail me with
the sight name, URL, your e-mail address and I will take the site into
consideration. This award is for Personal Homepages and/or Non-profit organizations
only!
Why am I doing this? I just want to give back something, for all the
great things that have been done for me over the years to help me deal
with this disease.
!Thank You!

1998 Award Winners
A site containing the story of a Native American womans fight with
AIDS. This site also caontains many tribute pages and is one of the most
graphically beautifull sites I have ever come across.
A personal home site created by Ron that includes details about his
life with AIDS and the site also has some great resource and link
information. Ron has also added some fun things to explore at his site.
Please stop in and have a look around.
A interesting personal home page, with a sobering "Rememberance"
page. This is the kind of page that reminds us why we need to stop AIDS,
and do all we can to fight this devastating disease.
This is one of the few minoity otiented sites that I have found on
the "Net". I think this is an important site especially considering the
lack of education we have been getting out to minority groups, which
happen to be one of the fastest growing groups of people that are being
infected with HIV.
A very nicely laid out site that combines information about HIV/AIDS
and also, Memorializes friends lost to this devestating disease.
A staight to the point site with some very good links for further information.
The
Filipino Task Force on AIDS provides culturally-sensitive,
ethnic-specific, HIV/AIDS prevention education programs and support
services to Filipinos living with HIV/AIDS.

This award was presented to me in recognition of my own award. The presenter
of this award has bestowed this honor to The AIDS Recognition Award based
on it's creativity and the idealism for which it represents. I am honored.
