I decided it was time to weed the old collection of me-photos to retire some that have served me well and allow room for newer ones. I have a bit of an exhibitionist streak (a revelation that might surprise some people, I guess) and I've taken a lot of self-portraits over the years. I'm no Mapplethorpe so I doubt that I'll become famous or even notorious, but they're fun to do. It's also fun to be photographed by someone else; I'm not one of those who say "Oh don't take my picture!" every time someone threatens to. So what I tried to do is pull together a collection of photos of me by me and by other people. Yes, I know, it's kind of narcissistic. But you're lookin' at 'em, aint'cha? (At least I hope you are.)
