About the Photographer

During the mid 1980s and early 1990s, I became a fairly serious amateur photographer. I specialized in landscapes, wildlife, and travel photography, working in 35mm, mostly color with the occasional foray into black and white. As far as competitions go, I entered several prints in a local photo contest over the years and was fortunate enough to win a few ribbons for my work. These photos as well as a few others are featured in this online Gallery. The selections here are mostly my favorites, including the ribbon-winners.

The original scans were slightly altered (lightened and sharpened) so that they would display well on a monitor. Otherwise, they are unretouched.

Thanks for stopping by the Gallery. Hope to see you again--I'll be putting more prints on display soon.
