Seria's Past -- Where It Began

Please remember this is still under construction, so the history is not fully completed, but feel free to read anyway, just don't judge.

Seria's Past -- As much as I /can/ cover

Seria is a large planet, and as a large planet, it consists of numerous gods, magic, wildlife, and of course... humans.

Long ago, the planet only had the gods and the wildlife as its life. The gods would watch the planet in different forms; as a Tree, as a creature, or as the sky and clouds themselves. You would never know their true form, unless they desired to show you it. The lands consisted of 8 gods, all of them which are powerful, and known for their abilities;

Mayris - The Goddess of Beauty.
Galixis - The God of Celestial.
Arth - The God of Power [Physical Power].
Borlo - The God of Magic.
Davus - The God of Dragons.
Ashel - The Goddess of Wisdom.
Tae - The Goddess of Time.
Gaiyis - The God of Nature.

They held no ruler, but rules themselves. The purpose of the gods were to keep themselves out of physical form, to keep the planet at bay. Humans did not step foot upon these lands, until portals began to emerge. The gods were confused, baffled that these portals would come up every so often; thus, with curiosity, they shifted into different beings, and began to study these new lifeforms. These humans came in large numbers, equipped, and very much confused on their own. After studying these lands, unaware of the gods watching them, they started to make use of the land, as their own home.

The gods did not like their trees being cut-down, nor their animals being slaughtered, therefore, a voice would call out to them in warning;

"If you wish to use our lands, you must use them with a cost! These lands are sacred to us, therefore slaughtering our own is unacceptable."

"If you do not give us something in return, you will be forced to turn back!"

Humans, confused by these sudden voices, one spoke up, a leader to them. He told the voices, that if they could go back, they would; however, they were stuck along these lands to use for their own. The gods did not like this, therefore, they had to make a deal with the humans.

This deal was, that the humans were allowed to use their land, as long as they stop cutting down their trees and slaughtering their animals. Unless it was dire need, the gods saw no need for them to do so. Afterall, the gods knew nothing of how these humans behave or act, making it harder for the humans to live without shelter or food.

Centuries went by, as the gods finally eased themselves from the humans making homes in their lands. Despite if they did not like it, the gods considered humans arrogant, however they could not live without certain food supplies or shelter. These gods were not cruel, unless they had to be... seeing another die, would not be something they'd like to see. The gods were very tempermental, but harmless. Instead, they became the humans' eyes to assure they do not overdo the slaughtering of wildlife.

Many of the gods were uncomfortable with the humans, yet a few of them did not mind the humans either, which caused conflict between the gods about the beings. Davus, being the more stubborn god, had to show himself out of spite, to call upon the humans in warning. This lead Davus to be banished of his power, and only became a lord, instead of a god, making Davus 'mortal'. No god was allowed to show themselves to the humans as true forms.

The humans made a living out of the small piece of land they found, providing many shelters for new beings that come across the lands, as well as those that have been making a living for years. This is how Seria City started, and how Seria Castle began to be built. Their hierarchy consisted of a King and Queen, which was known as the Axles. This is how the Axle heritage began.

As the civilization grew, so did the patience of the gods. The entire planet consisted of humans that breeded, and finally dispersed to adventure what this planet had. The gods finally broke out in anger and a war started; however, the gods were not allowed to show themselves, nor harm anyone, thus they only kept in secret as certain beings to overthrow and confuse the humans when they confront one. Demetrius Thir'los Axle was the present King, along with his troops and the one he considered his best friend, Maxim, leading the army with pride. The King was a solo man, always deciding what was best for his Kingdom, as well as those around him. He never wanted a war against the gods, but it was done, and he was struggling to get the troops to settle. Maxim, having a hard time understanding his friend and king's plans, he decided to allow his troops out in the open, along with himself, to find these gods and confront them. This, however, lead to torment, as the gods only grew more fustrated, and began to struck down on the humans in warning. Many were injured, and some died, but it was pure accident on the gods part.

The story goes, that the gods merely ripped apart a human for wanting these lands, however, these gods don't do such a thing unless tormented long enough. This being said, the humans took this to heart. Demetrius felt he had no other choice, but try and confront the gods by himself, which many in his Castle feared his death. Despite of such, the King couldn't hold back any longer, allowing himself to travel into the cold night by himself, hollaring out to the gods in the sky to show themselves.

After a moment's peace, and Demetrius soaked in the rain, Ashel showed herself to the man, but as a human being, and not of herself. Being she had the power to shower flowers around her, and give off a pleasant scent, Demetrius' guard was fading, but he tried to keep it up as he was sure she was not human. Ashel, however, couldn't help herself to try and make the man fall on his knees, which wasn't hard. Demetrius, struggling, couldn't bare himself as Ashel finally seduced him upon the soaked ground. This, made Ashel finally lose her power for meddling with the humans in an improper way. Being she was human to fool with the man, allowing herself to get pregnant with his child. This is how the Axles became gods themselves, or half gods.

The news spread in the Castle as Demetrius tried to tell his people that he was being manipulated. However, when the time came, a child was born, leaving Maxim furious of all this commotion and how irresponsible his King was. Calling him out during the birth, Maxim decided this was far enough to even comprehend, and thus, with many followers behind him, he left the Seria Lands to search for new lands to conquer. Maxim had no problem with the gods at this time, thus he ignored them as much as he could, for it was the gods and Demetrius he was upset with.

Over the ocean wide, a new land was discovered. Maxim and many of the people, who left Demetrius' Kingdom, named their new Kingdom... Drill. Maxim still had the same desire to stop the war with the gods, but the gods themselves halted their antics, and allowed the humans to live at peace... for now, for they had more worries about the gods mingling with the humans. Now, there were two Kingdoms; Seria and Drill, which, they were both now at war, which allowed the gods to be amused on how silly humans can be.

Demetrius' child was named Deotri Authale Axle, aka; Deo`. He was the first partial god/mortal child brought into the Axle name, however, the Mother died shortly after the death, being she could not handle being a mortal anylonger. The Kingdom finally forgot Demetrius' idiotcy, and welcomed the new heir to the throne. He was not the only child, however, for Demetrius shortly after, got a wife, and another son named Theleius Axle, who was more mortal than Deo`.

Deo and Thel grew strongly, Deo being the older son by 2 years, and Thel being the more intellgent one of the two; However, since Deo was older, he was abled to go for training as a Prince. This happened during the war against Drill, as Maxim himself found a lovely lady, and born a son named Rellis Zaelz'ahk, who was going to become heir to Drill Castle. The born of the new children made the struggling war grew even more tiresome. Despite the fact that they both had children to take care of, the war still happened, which the Mothers began to finally grow tire of, and tried to stop their husbands from throwing themselves into this hatred.

Alas the war continued, which broke out to the point where Demetrius and his wife, finally got murdered at the night of the silence, which, caused many people to assassinate Maxim. Rellis' Mother, kept him close and made sure no one else was to harm her son, for the sons were next in line to get killed. The sons were 6 years old, Deo being 8 at this time, and still learning the ways of being a Prince.

The Maidens took care of Deo` and Thel with ease, providing them tutors of everything, and allowing the Kingdom to be commanded by the Advisor till Deo` was old enough to lead the Kingdom himself. Being the war died down, one of the Maidens told a group of mercenaries to take Thel into their hands, and safely take him away where he could be treated secretly. These Mercenaries had no true ruler, but they did not trust Drill, and knew Seria was a better kingdom, allowing them to be fully trusted (with payment, of course). Deo was abled to finally fullfill his duties at the age of 16, being the youngest man in their history to be a King.

The lands between Drill and Seria were calm, as Rellis finally took the throne, with his Mother by his side as his advisor. Deo`, used Drill as a trading city for certain goods, which each month, Deo` would visit to trade many different valuables for weapons, or food supplies. During his usual visits, he met a young Messenger of Drill, named Sally Moreen. She was very much an outsider to Drill, being she was raised in Mayre Village, but she grew quite fond of the King, wanting to perhaps see his land, for she enjoyed traveling. Despite if it was against Drill to visit Seria, Deo` allowed her to visit anyways, and hoping it kept secret, as she went into his carriage, to finally meet the other end of the planet she's always wanted to see. It made her heart race, as this young girl enjoyed sight seeing.

It was unavoided, as Rellis finally knew about Sally's betrayal, and dubbed her a traitor amongst Drill, despite if Seria and Drill were on mutual understandings because of supply reasons. This, however, made Drill and Seria on terrible terms again, assuming Sally betrayed them, and Deo` kidnapped her. Assumptions rose, though Deo` tried to persway Rel that it wasn't as it seemed, but he was not one for foolish talk. Rel was persuaded to not start another war, by his Mother, this he did not start one, but told Deo` to keep his distance. This made trading very difficult on them.

Many different cities and towns grew from the land they were given, thus Rio City was dubbed the second largest city in Seria, but the largest city in Drill's territory. So, since Seria did majority of their trading with Riomin, the main Mayor of this city, Drill then decided to cut off their civil treaty, to begin a massive war to end what was left of Seria Castle.
