It appears that the last current update page was too big. I am hoping that by divinding up the pages, this will help. Since our family website is sponsered for free by geociites.com, they have a limit to the transfer of info that's on our site and if and when we have lots of hits on our site, it temporarily shuts down for an hour until we haven't "exceeded" our maximum allocated date transfer...next time I will just have to remember to take down the resolution on the images... thanks for the patience!

We went on two very fun camping trips this past summer. The picture below was taken at Kamp Dells in Waterville, MN. Grandma & Grandpa Talamantes, Uncle Chris, Uncle Nick & Aunt Jenny and cousins Casey, Cody, Carson & Jayden and our own family went on this camping trip. This was the first time she went on a boat of any sort, her first time camping and her first time fishing ever! It was sooooo much fun for her and really, our whole family! A month later we went on another camping trip on the Big Island in Albert Lea, MN (left) where Sem and Sera tended to keeping the fire going so we could make S'mor-o's. Yes, I did say S'mor-o's. At the first camping trip with the whole family we decided that since we are Mexican, the famouos camping treat needed some hispanic flair....ha ha! We haven't called them S'mores since.....
GONE CAMPING!
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!
For our Fourth of July celebration, we had a BBQ and had a fireworks show on July 3rd. It was great! We had family over and some brought their own fireworks with and then some of the neighborhood kids joined us. We had quite a show and it was fun! We will do it again for 2006! BYOF(ireworks) and join us! Then we watched the Rochester fireworks show on the 4th on the river with family.
We visited both Zoos this summer. Como Zoo re-did their amusement park area and it was so much fun for the kids! The zoo itself is free (there is a donation box though) and the amusement rides were reasonably priced. The pictures above are from Como Zoo.
Sera took swimming lessons this summer. She was in Level 1 and when she completed her lessons, she was given a certifiicate to move on to Level 2. She was so proud!
Sera went on some pretty wild rides this summer at the Olmsted County Fair. We went on Schmidt Printing's Family Day at the Fair (Sem's employer). Schmidt holds their summer family picnic at the fair and provides great deals on the wristbands, gives vouchers for food vendors and prvodes a big tent for a comfy place to rest, play BINGO, etc. It's a treat and we look forward to it every summer!
We went bowling a lot this summer and Sera really enjoyed herself!
Sera's brother. Semuel, had a FEAR FACTOR 13th B-day party this past fall and Sera was no chicken when it came to the challenges!
PUMPKIN PATCH FUN!
Not only did we visit a pumpkin patch this year, but there was a pumpkin patch on the NW offering free pumpkins too! We had an impromptu pumpkin carving party with our kids, Joe's boys (Casey & Cody), Sem's brother,Seng and his daughter Yesenia. It was so fun and we had about 15 pumpkins on our walk way this year and NOT ONE OF THEM WAS SMASHED! Yay!
We went to my friend Erica's Halloween Party where Sera dressed up as a Princess (above left). Semuel & Sera team up for a Mummy game at the party (above right). For the actual trick-or-treating (below), the kids dressed up as an injured person (Semantha), a Doctor (Semuel, providing care for the "injured" Semantha) and a kangaroo (Sera) whose tummy pouch provided an excellent candy catcher!
