Tsk, tsk, tsk. It took me over a year and lots of lectures to get this page updated. Sorry. You know, I thought with a digital camera it would get a little easier to get these pictures posted. Apparantly not! Ha ha! Anyway, my baby girl has grown so much in the last year. She has started her second year at Aldrich and now does MWF afternoon classes. Loving the fact that we can sleep in, she and I. We love her teachers, Mrs. Plute and Mrs. Wilkins. Sera has also started going to Sunday school with her brother and sister. She really likes this! Just tonight, we were having one of our many "before I tuck you in" conversations, and I asked her in a silly way, what if she flapped her arms so hard that she flew into outer space. I figured she would give me some silly answer but she smiled so big and answered me, very matter of fact-like, "Then I would see Jesus!". My little girl is so wise, isn't she? This past year she celebrated her golden birthday in January at Godfather's Pizza. We invited EVERY child in her class! For a picture, you can go to www.geocities.com/serasparty. She turned FIVE this last week and she also got new glasses! She is very proud of them! We'll be having her b-day party this upcoming Saturday at our house. Stay tuned to her b-day website for more info. Also this year, we welcomed a new cousin, Jayden Nicole Talamantes )proud parents are Uncle Nick and Aunt Jenny). So sweet to have another girl in the family! In March we went to TX to see family and it was so fun! We went way down south in TX this time to South Padre Island! We wanna move there!!! Ha ha! We all enjoyed the water, the peace of the ocean. Sorry, MN, but 10,000 lakes just ain't cuttin' it. All 3 of the kids "left the country" for the first time on this trip as we went over the border in Mexico. What a treat! In May, Sera finished up her first year of preschool. Over the summer, she took swimming lessons in Byron with a friend, Savanna (her mommy is a friend of mine from work). We again visited lots of local festivals and watched many firework displays this year. She's getting brave and not covering her ears all the time--just sometimes. If you ask Sera what I say to her most, she might say I love you....but she might also say that I tell her not grow up so fast. I tell her to slow down. You know what she tells me? "Mom, don't be sad. It's okay. I have to grow up, remember? I have to." And growing up she is....
