| By now children often feel they are too grown up to be going to a childminder. We appreciate this so don't have planned activities at all for this age group - unless we are all going out of course. During holiday time we have themed days such as a Sport's Day, a Big Brother Day, a Crafts Day that all children are included in (activities adapted to suit all ages) and whilst children generally do want to take part, they can opt out. |

| Compromises are sometimes necessary as the front room TV has Sky but also the PS2. Rotas are devised where needed. During the week, time is set aside for the 5-8's to have priority over the PC, PS2 etc. |
