The Dark Council
Chapter Seven
"Cloud! Cloud!...." Aeris called to Cloud in the darkness. But he couldn't hear her. He saw her though, kneeling and praying. Then, Sephiroth jumped down from the sky and ran his sword through Aeris. She fell silently to the floor. Sephiroth pulled his sword out of her and smiled. "NOOOO!!!" screamed Cloud as he awoke. "Aeris.." "Cloud, I'm here." Cloud looked up and looked around. There, standing in the mist of night was Aeris. Cloud couldn't believe it! "What you are seeing now is my spirit, I can't do this very often, but Cloud..I just wanted you to see me one last time." Aeris began to cry. "Why are you crying? Aeris! We're going to revive you! You're going to live agian!" Cloud insisted. Aeris just shook her head sadly. "No Cloud, I will not live agian. Mark will revive Sephiroth and the world will turn to darkness. When that happens, you must kill both of them." Then, Aeris vanished. "Aeris...you'll see. You're wrong." Cloud muttered before he fell back to sleep. |

Rose lay on her bed staring up at the stars. She couldn't sleep. She had already dreamed of Sephy once, and that was enough to satisfy her. She just couldn't sleep. So she got up and went to talk to Mark. She was surprised to see him laying on his bed alseep bleeding. "Poor Mark." she said. She had seen him change into his other form. Some how she belived that he had more forms other than that one. She kneeled down and tended to his wounds. She thought she saw his eye flicker open for just a second. She smiled in spite of her self. |

Emillie and Red were already in the forest. It was very dark. Only Red's tail provided light. Red could see well in the dark though. Emillie wandered through the forest blind. Trusting that Red knew the way. Suddenly Red said. "Listen." Emiliie could hear leaves shuffiling. Then, a once-human figure jumped out at her and Red. It grabbed her and cast some spell on her. She blacked out.... When she awoke, it was daylight and she was seated right across from Yuffie. Yuffie was asleep. She heard some people talking. Then, a guy with long hair and a dark cloak walked up to her. He looked her right in the eyes. She gasped. he had red eyes. "You will help us." He said to her. He untied her and lead her into a cave. There were 2 other people waiting outside of the cave. The guy turned to her asked. "Do you know who Sephiroth is?" "Yes." she replied. She knew that her friend Yuffie was also friends with Cloud, so she had never told Yuffie that she liked Sephiroth. She hated Cloud. So she told him that. "I hate Cloud, but Yuffie is my friend. Let her go." The strange but beautiful guy smiled at her. "I will let her go if you help us." He said. She noded her head. "Good." he said. "Andra! Take Yuffie to the center of the forest. Untie her and leave her. Make sure she is asleep." He said to the other guy. He turned to her and siad, "Now, since we are going to be working together we should at least know each others names. Mine is Mark." He said to her. "Mine is Emillie." she said back. "Emillie, you wouldn't happen to know any other launguage would you?" he asked. Emillie replied. "I know how to speak another launguage, yes. Why?" Mark began to tell her about the Gateway to Nothingness and the words needed. Mark lead Emillie into the cave.... |

Cloud woke up to sunlight. That made him happy. Light. He hastily grabbed his sword and set out into the forest. He hadn't gone very far when he spotted Cid, sitting looking up into the sky. "Cid!" Cloud shouted. Cid turned and saw Cloud. Cloud smiled and they set off to find the others. "I'm actually worried about Yuffie." Cloud said. "She's a ninja, she knows how to take care of her self. But I guess you're right. She is rather young." Cid said. They walked on in silence. |

Tifa awoke to Vincent shaking her. "Tifa? Wake up! Get up slowly." Tifa slowly got up. Then almost fell down. They were next to a dragon whom was supposivly asleep. "I found you here unconcious." Vincent whispered to Tifa. "I couldn't believe that you survived the night. We must hurry." Vincent pulled Tifa to her feet and she couldn't believe that she had slept next to a dragon! That didn't eat her! She almost fainted at the thought. Vincent lead her to..Red XIII! "Red! What are you doing here?" Tifa asked him. "Looking for you. Vincent filled me in. I can't believe that you forgot me!" "I'm sorry." Tifa said. "We must find the others, Red says he came to the forest with a girl named Emillie. She was captured by Mark. She knows something. Otherwise, He wouldn't have taken her. She is also one of Yuffie's friends, who is still missing by the way." Vincent finished. |

Sephiroth was so close to living agian! He could feel it even stronger now. That girl, Rose, had helped him so much. He believed that he loved her. "Strange thing, for me to be in love." he said to himself. He stood to go check on his demons and tell them that they'd have to find a new king, because he was going to live agian! |

Emillie gasped as she saw the Gateway to Nothingness. This was what her people were educated about. The launguage that would revive the lost. She knew now why she wasn't ever supposed to teach people the launguage. But, she was never told that she couldn't help people by using her launguage. "I know how to work this." She told Mark. "Very good, so you have been educted. You will help us." There was a questioning tone in Marks voice, but he knew that she would help him. She loved Sephiroth's hair! It was so silky! Finally, she would be able to ask him what he did to it. Emillie was a tan, blondie. She also wasn't too bright. She would do anything for her looks and that was one of her weakness. She also would do anything for a "bishie". She had a soft spot for hot guys. Typical blondie. Emillie approached the mirror. Andra and Rose (she had learned their names) entered the room. This was what they were waiting for. Emillie walked up to the Gateway to Nothingness... |

Aeris began to cry. Sephiroth had informed her that in a matter of minutes, he would be alive. "Don't expect your boyfriend to be alive either." Sephiroth had sneered at her. It was almost time. Aeris had already told Cloud that it was too late, but he did not believe her. He would see. He was wrong. She would never get to see Cloud agian. It was time for her to go.... |
