The Dark Council
Chapter Eight
As Emillie approached the Gateway to Nothingness she wondered if this was what she really wanted to do. There were plenty of other guys in the world, and Sephiroth was a powerful and dangerous person. With amazing hair. Mark appeared to be powerful too. If she didn't do what he wanted then she'd be in big trouble. She walked right up to the Gateway to Nothingness. She took a deep breath and said... "Demuna sa in Sephiroth." (Which is translated to 'restore life in') There was silence. Emillie stepped away. The mirror began to show colors... |

Below the Crater, Sephiroth's eyes flew open. His body was trust into a vortex that appeared in the sky. His body met his spirit. And he laughed. |

Sephiroth stepped out of the mirror, then turned and smashed it. Rose, Andra, Mark and Emillie just stared in amazement. Sephiroth flexed his muscles, swung his sword, and ran his fingers through his hair. "I live!!!" He exclained joyfully. Then, he turned to face his followers. "Rose..." He said as he walked up to her. "Thank you for making this possible." Then, he took her hand and kissed her. Then he turned to Mark and grinned. "Mark! How've you been?" They briefly hugged. Sephiroth turned to face Andra. "You must be Andra. Nice to meet you." He stuck out his hand, and Andra took it. Emillie began to approach Sephiroth, when he turned to her and..... |

Cloud saw the strange vortex in the sky and knew that it had happned. Sephiroth had been successfully revived. Just then, Cloud and Cid ran into Vincent, Tifa, and Red. "Did you see that?" Cloud asked The others. "Sephiroth's back." they all started running towards the cave. When they bumped into Yuffie. "Hi!" She said. They just glared at her. "You didn't do much I see." Cloud told her. "I was kidnapped! What was I supposed to do?" Yuffie replied. "Well, we are to late anyway, look at the sky. It's black." Cloud said. sure enough,with Sephiroth's revival the sky had turned black. |

Sephiroth looked surprised at the sight of Emillie. "So you found a native. I did not expect that." Sephiroth said. "And who might you be?" He asked Emillie. "I am Emlllie." She said. Sephiroth growled and started everyone. "She is not to be trusted! She will betray us all!" And with that he ran his sword through Emillie, killing her. "What was that for?!" Andra asked angerly. "She helped us get you back, then you go and kill her!!" Mark did not look surprised at all. "let me explain." he said. "Emillie here was not entirly loyal, she would just have gotten in the way.It was for the best." Mark finished. "Then let us leave this forest, the world already knows of my arrival and Cloud and the others will be here shortly." Sephiroth said. "Besides, we must start on your training Andra." Sephiroth and the Dark Council left the forest through the back of the cave. Not long after, Cloud came running out, followed by, Tifa, Cid, Vincent, Yuffie, and Red. "Sephiroth! Do not walk away from me! I have defeated you once, and I will do so agian!" Cloud shouted. "Fools!" Sephiroth yelled. "I have already won! Look at your pathetic planet, the sky is dark and soon, there will be demons joining me on this planet.So you see, you simply don't stand a chance!" Those words had no effect on Cloud, he charged at Sephiroth. Sword met sword and a battle began. |

It was over for Aeris. Sephiroth lived agian. She felt the balance of good and evil go way down. She heard the cries from the planet as sephiroth let his demons come to earth. The people would be so frightend. She turned and headed for the light. heaven was waiting. She just hoped that Cloud could do something to stop Sephiroth. And Mark. |

"Cloud, why do you resist? You can not win. I can see fear in your eyes." Sephiroth teased. Mark then joined the battle. His sword went right through Cloud's back. "he should be dead soon." Anounced Mark. "No, it will take more than that to kill him." Sephiroth told Mark. "Alot more." Sephiroth began slicing Cloud to peices. But Cloud kept fighting back. Now, Vincent had also joined the battle and was going one-on-one with Mark. Both of them were in their favorite forms. Vincent's being a winged demon, Marks' being a large dragon-like thing. The two "beasts" battled whille Cloud and Sephiroth battled. Soon, demons began appearing and Tifa and Yuffie were trying to fight those off. It wasn't looking so good. Cloud used Fire, Sephiroth used Earth. The battle brewed on all day, until finally Cloud fell to the ground. Vincent and Mark were both bloody and tired. Yuffie was captured by one of the demons, and Tifa had run off. Cid as well. All was silent as Sephiroth pulled his sword out of a bearly breathing Cloud. "Sephiroth, you will not get away with this, somehow, you will be...." Cloud never got to finish his sentence before he died. |

After that battle, Vincet flew weakly away, Yuffie was taken somewhere and Mark collapsed. Rose tended to sephiroth's wounds and the sun began to set. Sephiroth and Rose watched it in silence. "I am gonig to miss a blue sky." Rose told Sephy. "I know, but wasn't it worth me being here?" he asked Rose. "Yes I guess it was." The two settled down next to each other and talked of future events. "What am I to do now? I feel...complete." Rose wondered. "You could always marry me. You did insist that you loved me, and I believe that I love you as well." Sephiroth suggested. Meanwhille, in a nearby bush Tifa sat watching. "He knows I'm back here. Why doesn't he come and get me?" She wondered to herself. Tifa had to do something but she didn't know what. She saw Sephiroth and Rose together before her and had heard Sephiroth suggest that they get married, perhaps it would be wise for her to settle down and wait. But first, she had to go attend to Cloud's forgotten body. |
