The Dark Council
Chapter Three

"You LOVE him?" asked Mark with an astonished look on his face. "Yes," said Rose "I'd do anything for him, espesially for him to be alive agian. Oh, by the way, my name is Rose. And this is Andra." Mark grinned, he had found two people already. "Well nice to meet you Rose, Andra, I myself want Sephiroth to return to the living." Both Andra and Rose gasped, and Mark simply smiled. "I was Sephiroth's best friend, he was like a brother to me, and I hate Cloud with a passion for killing him." Andra stepped forward. "I wanted to be a swordsmaster, and I admired Sephiroth. I wanted to learn from him." replied Andra. "So that settles it, well most of it, why do you seek information on the great Sephiroth? From the looks of it, Rose, you know everything about him already." Mark questioned. "Not quite everything..." Rose said. Rose and Andra told Mark that they planned to revive Sephiroth, and they told him the ways they knew about reviving people. Mark simply laughed at them. "What's so funny?" Rose and Andra asked in unison. "Neither of your ways will work to revive him, but I truly know how." Mark began to tell them about the Gateway To Nothingness...
Aeris was there agian, in his dreams. It was like she was haunting him or something, but he didn't mind. Cloud liked seeing her. This time she was warning him that Mark was after the Gateway to Nothingness-something Cloud already knew. But Aeris also told him that Mark was a very powerful person, almost as bad as Sephiroth! Cloud couldn't believe it. Aeris gave Cloud a hint of were to find what he was seeking, "Follow WEAPON." was the hint. Cloud was really confused! How was he suposed to follow WEAPON?, And which one? When he had gone to freak out Mark, try to scare him away, he found that he had a sword, and was pretty good with it. He could be a problem.
Inside a room of darkness sat Sephiroth. The legand and the villian. He was seated in a high-backed throne, with jews embedded in it. He was wearing a cloak with jews and solid gold buttons. He was worshipped here. The realm of the dead, Hell, he had demons at his every beckon call. He held power. But he wanted to more than anything, to be alive. To kill Cloud and become a god. That was what he wanted. Not to be here, ruling the low-life creatures that were simple-minded fools. He knew of a way for him to return, but someone on the living realm had to revive him. "I do have followers." Muttered Sephiroth. "One of them is bound to be smart enough." Lately, he had been very bored, so he did what Aeris did. He wandered people's dreams. Seeking followers. Tonight, he had found one. A girl, who supposivly loved him. "Perfect." he said. Sephiroth told her how to reach the Gateway to Nothingness.........
"Sephiroth!!" Rose sat up in her bed at the inn. She hurridly put on her cloak and opened the door. She ran down to Mark's room. "Mark! Mark! It's me Rose, open up." The door opened. Rose hurried inside only to find Mark, sitting at the desk in his room, reading a letter. "Mark!" Rose said. "Yes Rose I am Mark, can I help you? And calm down!" Mark answered. "Sephiroth came to me in my dream!" Rose said happily. "WHAT? Really? What'd he say?" Asked Mark. Rose told him what Sephiroth had told her. "Follow the path that WEAPON took, find WEAPON, and you've found the Gateway to Nothingness. For it is hidden in the Ancient Forest." "The Ancient Forest? That can't be right, I've searched and searched that place. I haven't found it." Mark said sadly. "There's more." Rose said. "In the deepest depth of the forset, is your teasure. In the cave which holds Cloud's sword. There you will find a way...."
As the sun filled up the sky, Cloud glared at it. He wanted to go back to sleep. But he was too busy being ordered around by Tifa to care. They had to get a move on soon, otherwise Mark would follow them. Cloud had learned that Mark was not alone, he had two other followers. He had learned all that from Vincent, who spied on them last night. He also learned that the Gateway to Nothingness was hidden within the Ancient Forest region. That made things easier. But Cloud still had to learn the "Magic Words" to get the mirror to work. someone out there had to know something. And that someone was quite possibly Red. He knew almost everything. He probably knew the words-or something like the launguge.
Emillie was "chillin" with her friends around the beach at Costa Dal Sol. when one of them spoke up. tem un 'kaja! "Hey!" shouted Emillie. They all started laughing. Emillie and her "natives" spoke a special launguage that only the "tan people" knew. It didn't make any sense to her why she couldn't teach any of her outside friends the launguage. It was pretty cool to be talking to your friends in that weird launguage and have tourists walk by and look at you funny. Emillie got kicks out of that. It was a nice afternoon and she decided to go vist her friends in Wautia. So she got her little boat, and set out on her way.
Mark and Rose had planed to leave early in the morning last night, so they could escape Cloud and not have him follow them. But he knew that one of his buddies had spied on tham last night. So now it was even more urgent that they left. Mark had also informed Rose that there were more people that he knew that wanted Sephiroth back, and they were all on his side so he had decided to call themselves the Dark Council. These "others" Mark talked about were not really humans, they were the leftover monsters from SOLIDER, they were once human though. Mark had said that they were loyal to him. So Rose pretty much trusted him. There was still one problem that was yet to be fixed-Mark had said that you had to say some words before you could use the Gateway to Nothingness. They still had to find out those words. Apprently they were in another launguage. Rose went to wake up Andra while Mark got ready. As he stepped outside he was not surprised to see Cloud, Tifa and Vincent getting ready to leave. Cloud saw Mark and stopped. Mark smiled and began walking up to Cloud. When he approached he said calmly "It seems we are after the same goal, may the best team win." and he stuck out his hand. Cloud hesitated, but took his hand, and right when Cloud thought they'd shake hands in a polite manner, Mark grabbed Cloud's arm and flung him over. He grabbed his sword and was about to put it through Cloud, when...
