The Dark Council
Chapter two
Mark was perparing his chocobo when he overheard Billy talking to his father "Cloud's on the move agian dad, he wants us to take care of Gold for him." "That boy's always on the move! What's he up to this time?" Asked Chocobo Bill. Billy shrugged and walked off to attend the other chocobo's. Mark grinned and fastened the bridle on his gold chocobo's head. "We'll get it before them won't we Magic?" He asked his chocobo. Off he went to where? Nieblhiem of course! Cloud's "hometown" also where his buddy went insane and killed everyone. The ShinRa Mansion was there too. A place with a library filled with info. that barely anyone had touched! |

Rose knew of another place that she hadn't yet been to-the ShinRa Mansion- but she had no way of getting there. It was far away on the Western Contenient. And she was located in the Northern one. "Hummmmm" she tought. "Ahhhha! the Chocobo Sage!" she exclaimed "He'll tell me how I can get a chocobo! But....I'll need on that can cross oceans....." Back to square one. She had never heard of a chocobo that could cross oceans. But there was a legend about some hero breeding one and getting The Kinghts Of The Round to help him in a battle of great importance. Everyone believed that that hero was Cloud. But Cloud was no hero to Rose! |

Andra had moved on. To Cosmo Canyon. Where Ultimate WEAPON had crashed into the earth allowing people to enter the Ancient Forest. Were he went to think. He had already searched the forest throughly and found nothing of great importance, just a few items. But he liked to come here to relax and reflect. Today he was thinking about the Crater. The battle had supposivly taken place there, but it was forbidden to go there. There would be gaurds and such. But he decided he'd go to the Iceicle Inn that was there. He directed his plane towards that direction and was on his way. |

Mark arrived at Nibelhiem a little before dark. He entered the town and raced to the inn that was there. Apparently he entered at the right time. "Cloud's leaving on another quest soon, and he doesn't even konw where he's going!" he overheard some guy saying. Mark made his way to his room. As soon as he entered he was greeted by....a dark figure holding a gigantic sword! The figure lunged at Mark.......... |

Andra landed his plane right in front of the Icicle Inn. As soon as he got out of the plane a girl ran into him. A very beautiful girl at that. She hit him with a thud and fell into the snow. "Hey, are you ok?" Andra asked. The girl looked up and he found himself looking into a pair of beautiful blue eyes. "I'm alright." the girl said. Andra helped her to her feet. "What's your name?" he asked. "Rose" she replied "I'm really in a hurry so please excuse me...." she trailed off as she looked at his plane with wonder. "HEY!" she suddenly said "you wouldn't mind giving me a ride would you?" she asked. "oh sorry," she said "I didn't get your name" "Andra" he replied. "Uh...where exactly do you need a ride to?" "Nibelhiem, I need to go to the ShinRa mansion to learn more about Sephiroth." she said. "WHOA?!! really? I'm here to learn about Sephiroth!" Andra said. So Andra and Rose began talking about how angry they were at Cloud and how much they want Sephiroth back alive. Andra listened to her reasoning, and Rose listened to his. They both agreed to work together and find a way to return Sephiroth to the living world. Starting with-Nibelhiem-and so they left, in Andra's plane... |

Mark raised his sword just in time to stop the figure's sword from running into his body. "You!" replied the figure. "I know what you're after, and you won't get it! The king of the dark will never live agian!" and with that said the figure turned and leaped out of the window. But Mark saw a flash of blonde hair under the figure's hood. "Cloud" he growled. Now it was officially a compitietion between him and that so-called-hero. "Wait and see you scum, I will find it before you do!" and with that Mark let out a laugh of pure evil. |

Andra and Rose arrived in Nibelhiem in the middle of the night. "Let's go find the Inn." suggested Rose. "No" said Andra, "We've got to get to the mansion! At least before the sun comes up otherwise someone may try to stop us." So Andra and Rose headed towards the Mansion, hopefully to find the answers they were seaking. No one was in the mansion, and it was pitch-black inside. Andra's materia orbs glowed in the darkness. They headed for the library, but couldn't find it. "I heard that the library's under ground where the basement is." said Rose. So they started searching for some way to get to the library... |

Mark settled down in his room in the inn, but he saw a faint light in the ShinRa mansion. He decided to go check it out. After all, someone had to protect the valuable information about Sephiroth that was known by little, he had read some of it but couldn't bear to read it all-it was too depressing and personal. Whatever Sephiroth told Mark was up to him himself. So Mark grabbed his sword, pulled on his black cloak, and headed out into the night. He reached the mansion and opened the creaky door. It was quite inside. Something leaped out at him from the shadows. He quickly thrust his sword forward and cut it in half. "Ah only a dorkyface." Mark sighed with relief. His materia glowed gently in the darkness. Then, he heard a crash from upstairs, followed by someone curse. Then another voice, female, said "shut up!" "Humph! fools playing around in the mansion late at night, probably escapred for some fun" Mark muttered under his breath " Nothing to worry about, I might as well go warn those kids before they do some real damage." he said. |

Andra heard the noise before Rose did, someone else was in the mansion. He knew it. His training (the little he had) had payed off. "Someone else is in the mansion." he wispered to Rose. "I heard someone's voice, it was a mummble but I heard it." "I think you're scared" Rose teased. "I didn't hear anything." foolish girl, thought Andra, she didn't undergo any swordsmanship training. Suddenly, a dark figure was at the top of the stairs, and it had a sword!! "Look out!" screamed Andra as the figure dashed forward for Rose, Rose turned and screamed. The figure laughed and grabbed Rose. "Get out of this mansion." It said. "this is no place for kids." Then, Andra realized it was human. "Who are you?" he demanded. The figure hesitated, then pulled off his hood. It was a man, about Andra's age. He had red eyes and long dark blue hair. "They call me Mark." the figure replied. "And you kids really shouldn't be here." There was a note of concern in his voice as well as worry. "What are you doing here anyway?" Mark asked. "weeee....were.. looking for the libary.." said Rose. "The LIBARARY!?!" roared Mark "why would you want to go there?" Rose replied "we....were..looking for information on Sephiroth, I may sound foolish, but I love him...." |
