| A light in the Darkness Chapter Four Tifa followed the path to Mnt. Nibel, and then to the reactor plant. As she entered, light shone all around her. A creature was breaking free! One of those horrible monsters was coming to life! It stepped out of the pod that it was in and looked around. It glared at Tifa and roared. Suddenly, it charged at Tifa. She screamed and turned to run. She ran out of the reactor plant with the monster following after her. |

| Vincent sat up. He heard the scream and he knew that Tifa had left. He jumped out of bed, grabbed his cloak and Death Penalty and ran out the door. He saw funny lights coming from Mnt. Nibel, and decided that was where Tifa was. He ran towards the mountain... | |||||||||||

| Rose jumped at the sound. A scream. She dropped her book and ran to the window. Mnt. Nibel was full of light. "Where are you Sephy?" Rose asked herself. "Well, since he's not home, I'll just have to go see myself." She went upstairs to her room and got her coat, she grabbed the hand gun just in case. As she was about to leave she spied the watch demon by the door. "Excuse me, but will you please tell Sephiorth that I have left to Mnt. Nibel?" Rose asked the demon. It nodded. "Thank you." and she turned to the door. Rose rushed outside. It was cold! She started for Mnt. Nibel, and saw a figure running in the same direction. A figure with a gun. "Strange." she wondered to herself. She followed the figure. She got close enough to realize that it was a man with long black hair. Who was wearing a red cloak and had a mechanical arm like a claw. "Oh! It's Vincent!" Rose realized. "I wonder what he's up to?" She reached Mnt. Nibel right after Vincent. The light was very blinding up this close so she shielded her eyes. Vincent took that moment to turn his head. He knew that he had a follower, but he did not expect it to be Rose, Sephiorth's wife! He looked around and saw Tifa being chased by some creature. "Tifa!!" Vincent called. She swung her head around and ran into Vincent's arms. "It's after me! A monster!" Tifa told Vincent. Suddenly the monster was behind them and leaped..It then fell to the ground in mid-air. Tifa and Vincent spun around to see Rose holding her hand gun. "Why? Why did you save us?......." Tifa asked confused. Rose smiled and said "You may be Sephy's enimes, but I don't think you're mine." Rose answered. "But we tried to stop you from reviving him." Tifa said confused. "Well, you did succed so I don't see any reason to be angry." Rose answered. "Thank you I guess" Tifa said. She and Vincent headed home. | |||||||||||

| Sephiorth left Mark's home with out any ideas. He looked at the sky and realized. "It's after midnight! I've got to get home!" Sephiroth quickly took to the air... He entered his castle and looked around, it was very quite. "Rose? Rose!" He called. No one answered. He looked in each room, no Rose. "What happened? Where is she?..." Sephiroth wondered. He sat down on his bed and sighed. "I can't believe it. I'm a horrible husband to let this happen." He muttered to himself. "Master Sir." A demon appeared at the doorway. "Yes? What is it?" Sephiroth demanded. "Rose told me to tell you that she left for Mnt. Nibel." The demon answered. "Mnt. Nibel! Why would she go there?!" Sephiroth put his cloak back on and grabbed Masamune. He opened the doors to the balcony and took to the air. he flew to the mountain and landed. "Rose?" He called. "Sephy?" Rose walked up to him, she was holding the hand gun. "What happened?!" Sephiroth said as he rushed up to Rose sweeping her off her feet into his arms. "A monster came out of the reactor, and I killed it." Rose told Sephy. "I saved Vincent and Tifa by doing so." She finished "WHY did you save them? They are out to kill me!" Sephiroth looked confused. "I don't hate them or any thing and I will not let them hurt you! Besides, now they are in my debt." Rose smiled. Sephiroth sighed "Ok Rose you win. As long as they didn't hurt you." Sephiroth gently picked up Rose and they flew home. | |||||||||||

| "You really scared me you know." Sephiroth told Rose. "I'm sorry, but you weren't home so I had to go find out what those weird lights were." Rose said. Weird lights coming from Mnt. Nibel, coming from the reactor, coming from one of the monsters. "You know, that reactor was were they stored the monsters for SOLIDER, that's were I found out about myself...how could one of those monsters still be alive? Unless..someone is making more of them!" Sephiroth told Rose. "Sephy, I honestly don't think that somebody would actually make more monsters like that. They were once human right? So, who would be willing?" Rose questioned. "I suppose you're right." Sephiroth said "I do think too much." Sephy and Rose then went to sleep. | |||||||||||

| "Well that was weird." Tifa told Vincent that night. "I would've never guessed that Rose would come to our rescue." She finished. "I knew that she was following me, and we easily could've done without her help. Now I feel that we were tricked some how into a trap or plan." Vincent said. "Well let's try not to think about it too much." Tifa told him. "Besides, I'm tired. Let's get some sleep." She suggested. | |||||||||||

| The nights had been very cold lately, Christmas was indeed quite close. Rose even thought that it might snow. Oh! how she would love some snow! She looked out the window into the dark sky, she couldn't see any stars tonight. She turned to look at Sephy, and she noticed that he was still awake. "Can't sleep either?" Sephy asked her. "Yeah, it seems different tonight. I don't know why." Rose said. "You know, I some times wonder where I would be if I wasn't with you. I would probably still be ruling the demons." Sephy told Rose. "But, you still do rule the demons.." Rose said. Or began to say, she didn't get to finish her sentence because Sephy wrapped her in his arms and locked his lips on hers. | |||||||||||

| Yuffie picked at the lock that held her with her nails. "It's useless little girl, you won't get out of here and you know it." A nearby demon told her. "Yeah, you'll be lucky if you even live!" Another one added. She was tired of listening to their nonsense and she was certainly tired of them. "I will get out of here. You'll see." She muttered under her breath. | |||||||||||
