Chapter 6
Watching Karlie doing her back flips, cartwheels, slips and all
those moves weren't new for the Slayer and her colleagues. She basically used
her cheerleading dance move with a mix of the Slaying job in her fighting.
Every practice, Karlie always surprised her teammates with her flexibilities
and new moves. They all asked her where she learned all those tricks, but
Karlie, mysterious like she is, always acted innocent about the situation by
saying "It comes with the family".
After her practice, the others had a few more hours left before the sunset and
decided what to do before the Slayers left for their unpaid jobs.
"I don't know about you guys," Lissy suggested "but I want to go
to the beach. I mean it's been a long while we haven't been there and
beside it's very sunny and hot today. I think that we shouldn't let this chance
go to waste and go to the Magic Store instead."
"Yeah she got a point there!" Lee and Karlie agreed.
"And beside," Buffy began to yelled "I want to check some hotties out and got to find me a dude!"
"And me, some babes!"
"Oh yeah right Greg! Like you're going to
get some babes! I mean I could get more women that you'll do!"
"Shut it Buff!" He hit her on
the arm and she returned the favor with a bigger one.
After everyone agreed with Lissy's idea, they went home to get
theirs stuffs and once arrived there, Clay was starting to get some food ready
for the barbecue while Greg and Karlie were throwing a football around; Lissy,
and Buffy were talking a walk along side the beach shore and were also checking
some guys.
"Come on Greg!", Karlie yelled "Throw it!"
"You know what Kaz? I just realize something." He spoke as she caught the
ball "You actually throw like a girl."
Without saying anything in return, Karlie placed the football
perfectly in her hand, pierced her eyes, looking for the target, and threw it
with all her force. The ball flew in the sky, not knowing where it was, since
it was near the sun. Greg was looking around, and once
he saw it, instead of catching it, it hit him and knocked him to the ground.
"That wasn't funny Waterson!" He said as he got up coughing.
"If it wasn't then why am I laughing? I think you flew about
5 feet from your old spot!"
When Karlie's back was turn around, Greg took his spot and was
about to ran and throw her in the water. Unfortunately, he was stop by someone
who made him turned quickly and jumped on him which made him fall down again.
"You were about to tackle my sis huh?" A husky and seductive voice
whispered into his ear.
Still on the ground, Greg shook his head and looked up at the
direction of the voice. It was none other that Buffy herself who tackle him on
the ground and she ended up sitting on top of him, to his much delight.
"No! Not at all! What ever gave you that idea?", He smiled.
Getting closer to his face, she smiled. "Wipe that smile off your face or I�m going to wipe it off myself!"
"Well, I know a way for you to wipe it off�"
"Oh shut up Greg! You and your sick mind are WAY off the track!",
Lissy and Karlie were about 5 feet away from what was happening
between Greg and Buffy. They and the others always though that there might be a
flame between the both of them, but they both acted so much like kids, that it
couldn't even be possible for them to hook up. After that weird situation, the
4 friends went up towards the rest of the crew were.
"Where's my burger?" Buffy said while looking up what the others were doing.
"Well if you noticed there's no fire. So no fire mean no burger!"
"That's good Clay and what color is the water?", Lee teased him as he threw a cloth at her.
"We could be eating right now," Clay answered before turned his eyes to Lee who was looking through her bag,
"if a certain person didn't forgot the lighter!"
"Hey I said I was sorry!"
"Okay stop it you two! Listen I'm going to start the fire alright?". Lissy closed her eyes and began to concentrated. As she about to
speak, Greg closed her mouth with his hand, which made her startled.
"No Lissy! Let me do it cause I want to try if it works with me!"
Greg closed his eyes in his turn and when he opened his eyes, everyone were
terrified due to the fact his eyes were dark black. "Ignition Excented!"
Suddenly, the fire appeared into thin air in the wood pile. In amazed, some smiled while others were in shock. They all looked
at Greg and his eyes turned back to the sweet deep blue like it were once
before they were black.
"Hey look at you Greg! You little wizard you!", Lee said with a laugh as she put
the burgers on the girll. "Anyways, How did you do that Greg?"
Lissy was looking at Greg, but he was looking clueless. "Well I
can answer that. We only need to balance the 4 elements and had to be careful
what you say cause you can lose it and it will provoke some-" Suddenly, out of no where, a
huge angry thunderstorm made its appearance huge storm cloud appeared and
started to pour.
"I didn�t do it! I swear to God!", Lissy yelled out as everyone
were laughing and grabbed there stuff and headed to the car and decided to go
to directly to the Magic Store.

At the Magic Store, Giles had been working really hard to find out
the location of Steve's and Drusilla's hide out and the ritual of Balthazar who
was planning to do in the next full moon, which was in 3 days to be exact. A
few minutes later, the store front door flew open with the help of the wind
storm and the crew came inside all wet, soaking and laughing at the same time.
"What the hell happen?", Andrew laughed when he saw his friends coming through the door.
"It was sunny a few minutes ago.", Giles added as he put his book down on the table.
"Ask Lissy!", Clay said as he shook his head.
"You know what Clay?" Ryan spoke with a laughter while looking at
Clay shaking his head. "I ALWAYS knew that you were a dog."
"What can I say?", he replied, "It runs in the family!"
Caught off guard, Ryan began to run after Clay, around the store.
Watching with amusement, they didn't heard someone banging nor screaming at the
door. As the scream grew louder, Ryan stopped running and began to laugh even
harder. They turned around towards the direction of the yelling, not
knowing what was going on. They saw Buffy and Lee on the front door, blocking
the front door, not willing to let Greg inside, who was outside in the rain and
was pouncing on the door to let him in, but they wouldn�t move.
"Oh come on Lee! Let me in! I'm soaking here!"
"Yeah so? Admit that we're the best!"
"NEVER!", he yelled out.
"Alright!", Buffy spoke, "Stay out here!" She locked the door and sat next to
Bekah.
"You're not going to let him stay out there?", she asked said with a laugh.
"Watch me!"
Andrew got up from his chair and walked towards the front door. He
slowly opened the door and Greg stood outside with an unhappy look with his
hair in front of his face and his clothes soaked and dripping everywhere.
Everyone tried to held their laughter by showing a smile or hiding their smiles
in behind their hands. Greg stepped in and shook his head. After he passed his
fingers through his hair, he immediately turned towards Buffy who was giving
him a smile.
"Come here!", Greg yelled as he ran towards her.
The others watched them, laughing at them who were running around
the area. Usually Giles tried to calm them down, because he was afraid of
losing his customers, but this time, he wasn't to bother with it, since it was
too funny. A few seconds later, they decided to continue on what they were
searching and doing at the beginning. They were trying to find more information
about a ritual that Balthazar was planning and the crew concluded that it will
be something horrible, especially when it involved Steve and Drusilla.
"Anyways, to answer everyone's question." Tilky spoke "We haven't found anything about
Balthazar's ritual or something like that. With
all the vampires, which most of them were torture by Buffy, who had the
information, but it still wasn't enough to know what Balthazar�s wants."
"So are you guys saying", Karlie questioned, "that you had been
here all day and you haven't found anything?"
"Hey vampires need some sleep to you know!," Andrew remarked.
"Well excuse me Mister I'm-The-Smartest-Vampire-In-The-Block!"
"Don't make me hurt you!", he said as he changed into his demonic face.
"Don't make me stake you!", she said as she put a stake in front of his
chest.
"You wouldn't dare!"
"Oh! Want me to dust you so you can found out if I'm kidding?"
"Don't mess with her Drew!" Clay warned.
Andrew changed back into his human face. But suddenly, an extra
weight gained on his back. He looked up and it was Buffy. She looked at him and
smiled quickly, before turning her attention into Gile's words. They started to
talking and researching till the rainstorm started to calm down. Buffy was
still on Andrew's back. She was looking at what they were doing, but he scent
her mind wasn't all together. He did not know what was bothering her and he
wanted to ask, but he knew she would make a big fuss about it. He turned
slightly his head and caught her gaze. Her deep brown eyes were soft, but yet
fill with mysteries. Anyone could go into a trance, by just one glance of her.
He felt she had more power of seduction than a vampire. He had never studied
her eyes like this before. She smiled softly to him. He smiled back, but the
trance had broke since Greg spoke up loudly.
"Well I don't know about you guys, but I got to get home to be ready for my date tonight."
"What? Greg got a date?" Lissy said
pretending to be shock. "And who's the unlucky lady?"
"Ha! Ha! Very funny guys!"
"Anyways, we better get ready for patrolling also." Bekah spoke
"Cause the rain had stopped and it's almost night time."
"You're coming Buffy?", Lee asked as the rest of the girls went to get change in the back of the store.
"Yeah, but let's meet somewhere. I got to
home first. You know folks problem?", she answered as smiled to Andrew who put
her down."Greg, do you think you can give me a ride home?"
"Not at all. Come on!"
