| Faucetmouth Jonesboro/Mountain Home, AR Robby/Vocals Chris/Guitar Shaggy/Bass Bishop/Drums Faucetmouth was formed by Robby, Ryan and Bishop. Robby and Ryan were origionally from the band, DownFlow which was formed over two years ago. Downflow was generally a band of friends who just wanted to have fun and entertain their home town, Mountain Home. Soon, DownFlow fell apart leaving Robby and Ryan with the ambition of wanting more than just the simple life of living at home watching The Price Is Right. They soon came across Bishop-thier drummer. Bishop (also having experience with previous bands) Robby, and Ryan started their new band, Faucetmouth. Before the name Faucetmouth came about, the trio had several names suggested for the calling of the band; such as, The Cheerleader Beaters, Faraway, and several others. After a few months of just the three of them practicing, the band realized the needed one more member. With Robby and Ryan switching off bass guitar, they went through several bassists to finally find the perfect piece to the puzzle. Shaggy was the newest member of the band. He was officially named bassist in February of 2001. Since the coming together of all four members, Faucetmouth has kept themselves busy with shows and continuous songs. They have set out one demo (self-titled). Actually, it wasnt an organized demo, it was generally a few songs added to any cd they burned. However, the cd made a pretty big impact. Soon after thier first cd was made, they sold their cd's to fans at shows and Shaggy's girlfriend sold cd's to friends/fans at her high school, although the outcome wasnt profitable, it was woth it. Soon people around the north-eastern-central Arkansas area were listening to Faucetmouth. Faucetmouth has come along way putting show dates up on local band websites and placing their main song, Taken, on mp3.com. Faucetmouth had lots of confusion finding new ideas for a come-back. They tried having Rob as the guitarist along with Ryan and they invited their old bassist, Brandon, to be the new singer. This new line-up didnt last long. Soon after Ryan quit to go back to college. This forced FM to look for a new guitarist. Luckily, it didnt take long for them to find the perfect piece to the puzzle. In late July 2002, Faucetmouth was introduced to Chris, their new guitarist. Currently they are working on new sounds for their up-coming tour in Dec. |
