LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD

As you may have been hearing in the local news and in local newspapers, there is an effort underway to gather public support for a fitness and recreational multiplex for the people of Lawrence County. An indoor swimming pool and therapy pool are proposed, along with indoor walking track and other features. This project will take the combined effort of the City and County Governments AND will need the support of individual citizens, businesses, and industries. If you would like to see this become a reality, call, write, e-mail, or in some way communicate with the Mayor and City Commissioners, the County Executive and County Commissioners, and the Chamber of Commerce committee. I know that there is great need for such a fitness and recreational facility; but our government officials need to know that the community is behind the effort, so please contact any or all of the following and LET YOUR VOICE BE HEARD.
