Welcome to Mad Andy's Bike Page
Here are a few pics of my GT250L.Its a 1974 that I found in the back of an old bike shop in North London.
I got it in June 2000 and am still finding new bits here and there. As I enjoy riding it so much it is an on going restoration.
I just need to get the wheels re built and a few more little parts re chromed and that should be it.
Having spent 3 times as much on the bike than its worth I must say I have enjoyed every minite its taken up.

Its a great bike to ride and goes like a rocket now I have rebuilt the engine and gone for 1mm oversize and a slight bit of porting modification including an electronic ignition,I got so fed up with the points on it,the only down side in my opiion..It gets up to 100mph and will sit there, although at the time it was built Suzuki were so concerned about making a fast 2 Stroke they kind of forgot to make the rest of the bike stable and lighter at that kind of speed.Getting the idea of making the bike lighter was not going to happen until they designed the GT250 X7 that had alot of plastic parts.
Heres a few pics for you.
Here`s what it looked like in 1974, Well its getting there !!
