4. Season  Five (Rating: 6)
Season One:
An excellent first season, a great start to the series.
It truely explores the delta qaudrant and the intergration of the maquis crew onto Voyager.
Best Episode: Jetrel
Season Two:
An outstanding year. Here the series lives up to its name and
explores the unkowns of space. It explores the character more, and treats Voyager like a community not just another starship.
Best Episode: Deadlock
Season Three:
A horrible year. It seems to me the writters were running
out of ideas as they shot out one horrible episode after another. Plus they tottally destroyed Kes' character which is probably what led to her leaving the show earlier next season, and it began the horrible mistake of putting Paris and Torres together in a relationship.
Best Episode:
Scorpion Parts 1 & 2
Season Four:
An excellent turn around for the series. Here they introduce
the character of Seven of Nine, who was a great addition to the crew, they brought great depth to the series. Although they did press on with the Torres and Paris relationship.
Best Episode:
Year of Hell Parts 1 & 2
Season Five:
An impressive year, with some interesting and some
unorginal episode.
Best Episode:
Drone
Season Six:
A pretty good season, with some outstanding episodes such as
"Blink of an eye" and "Memorail", but it over does the Borg and Seven of Nine. If I have to listen to one more "When I was in the collective" story...
Best Episode:
Blink of an Eye
Season Seven:
An overall horrible season, which produces alot of
unorginal episodes. They continue to do the Borg to death, including the horrible "Unimatrix Zero" and the poor excuse for a series finale "End Game", which was the worst possible way they could have ended the series.
Best Episode:
The Void
