| Over All: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| A well done episode, a very good parallel to present day and | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| past day situations. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Pros: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| - A very good and closer look at the Suliban. This is the first | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| episode of any Trek series to go into better detail of an alien advesary. Here we see ordinary average Suliban who have nothing to do with the troublesome group of Suliban Enterprise has come across in the past. - These Tandarans, and Colonel Grat in particular are an interesting lot, I hope we see more of them in later episodes. - This episode gives an interesting view about prejudice. When Archer and Maywheather see Suliban they automatically assume that they're being held captive by them, but when they learn they're being held by the Tandarans they assume that the Suliban are apart of the Cabal, but they're not they're just ordinary people, and some of the Suliban assume that Archer and Maywheather are Tandaran spies, because they look similiar to the Tandarans, not to mention the Tandarans who imprison thousands of people just because of their race. Which reflects on modern day situtations, as it mentioned in the episode itself, it paralles the imprisonment of Japenese-American citezens in America during World War Two, which I think is a great thing to remind the general public about, that something like that happend in America, people need to be reminded as to not let it happen again. And this episode comes at an appropraite time, as with the attack on September 11th, prejudices have been flaring against arabian and muselins just because of they way they look or because of their religion, which is what I think this episode is really about. It shows how Archer, our hero, the good guy, can be prejudice of people just because of their race, but it also shows that he realizes his mistakes and corrects them, by helping the Suliban escape. - Now this is what I like to see, the Enterprise crew make a succesful and professional rescue of their crew members, and the Suliban prisoners. Unlike that joke of a rescue attempt that made them look like five year olds in "Shadows of P'Jem". - And of course I have to mention the great performance of Dean Stockwell as Colonel Grat, who of course also starred with Bakula as Al in the late 80's early 90's sci-fi show "Qauntum Leap". Another reason why I hope they show Colonel Grat again. |

| Cons: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| - I'm getting a little tired of hearing Tripp whining to T'Pol | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| whenever he doesn't get his way. He's such a five year old. Just another reason why I hate Tripp. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
