Synopsis: Archer's dog, contracts a deadly virus. Archer spends the night in sickbay by his side.
Over All:
A boring and pointless episode.
Pros:
- The exploration of Archer's character is interesting, and his
relationships with T'Pol, Doctor Phlox and Porthos.
- The scenes with Phlox and Archer in sickbay were interesting and amussing.
Cons:
- The whole thing with Archer and T'Pol was rediculous. The sexy
dream seqeunces were another odvisous ploy for more ratings, that just turns out stupid.
- Here we see the Kreetassans, an alien race first introduced in the first season episode
"Vox Sola". In that episode, they showed how delicate first contact is, and how a simple thing such as eating could be misunderstood and cause offense. However in this episode they show the Kreetassans as an annyoning race that's very easily offened, and require Archer to go through a ridiculos ritural to apolgize for it. It's all way too over the top. In "Vox Sola" all Maywheater had to do to apolgize is to say that he apolgizes. In that episode it was just a misunderstanding, however this episode changes the whole nature of the Kreetasans.
