• "...Anath purred, 'You must not let him learn how
dangerous you are to him until it is too late for him to escape…" - this refers to Rand and implies that Anath is anxious to see Rand controlled

2. Winter's Heart Ch.17-Pink Ribbons

  • "...Anath's wavy black hair was short, but not shaved…" - this indicates that Anath is not of the Blood nor so'jhin
  • "...the too familiar Seanchan drawl seemed almost absent entirely…" - further proof that Anath is not Seanchan by birth

3. Lord of Chaos Ch.6-Threads Woven of Shadow

  • "...she (Semirhage) was called away from her charge… the girl was willful and obdurate, the circumstances difficult…" - she was called away because she had to torture Cabriana for infromation. The reference to her charge agrees with Tuon's description of herself as headstrong.

4. Lord of Chaos Prologue:The First Message

  • Demandred tells Mesaana and Semirhage: "When I think of where you two have placed yourselves, I wonder. How much has the Great Lord known, for how long? How much of what has happened has been his design all along?"
It's a long shot, but this could refer to Tuon, who we all know is the Daughter of the Nine Moons destined to marry Mat. Mat, of course, is one of our ta'veren and a key to the defeat of the Dark One at Tarmon Gaidon.

5. How does Semirhage hide her ability to channel from the Seanchan?
  • By inverting her weaves, the same thing that was done to Moghedien in Salidar and what Mesaana does in the White Tower. Remember, whenever Mesaana meets Alviarin, Alviarin can not sense Mesaana's power/strength in the One Power.

6. Other Refernces to Semirhage
  • The Fires of Heaven Ch.14 Meetings p.273: shadowing other Forsaken in Tel'aran'rhiod
  • The Fires of Heaven Ch.30 A Wager p.494: Semirhage was almost as poor at handling weather as Asmodean
  • Lord of Chaos Ch.6 Threads Woven of Shadow p.190: orders that had had her send Myrddraal and Trollocs to the Stone of Tear to battle those sent by Sammael
  • The Path of Daggers Ch.22 Gathering Clouds p.478: When rain fell in sunshine the Dark One was beating Semirhage. She would always be smarting and angry after that and come for small boys who did not keep out of their elders' way.
  • Winter's Heart Ch.13 Wonderful News p.355: Demandred, Semirhage and Mesaana had an agreement that they would not turn on one another until the others had been eliminated…; it was difficult for her (Semi) to attend these meetings… (probably because she was on a ship)

Semirhage | Where's our favorite Sadist?

THE WHITE TOWER

Thanks go to Mary Wiese for letting me use her drawing/picture of Semirhage, and to Thalion's The Royal Library of Cairhien for the information found in The Guide (which I still don't have, sigh :(
