Movies... countless ones are made each year, so it is unlikely that anyone except critics will be able to see them all. Therefore, we all pick and choose what we allow ourselves to view on the big screen. And we form opinions on what we spend our hard-earned ( or not ) money on. Sometimes we see a movie that truly is a marvel and wonderous film to behold. Other times we leave the theater wondering, " How the heck could a piece of trash like that be made? "
And thus my purpose for this section became clear... to tell all of you my opinions on the movies I have seen and to encourage you towards the good or steer you from the bad. Many of these movies have already reached the screen before I could review them... okay, ALL of them have. But since I can't seem to be a paid critic ( I try, but they don't seem to want me ),
I have to do this after a movie has been released. To those of you that I am unable to warn ahead of time, I apologize. I'm semicultured, but not a time traveler.
Anyway, on to the reviews. Each movie reviewed here will be judged according to its pros and cons, and given an appropriate ranking as seen below. That said, enjoy! |
