Story: Well, ever since I got my tongue pierced I wanted to get my nipples done. I know I was going to do it myself because I didn't want to wait til I'm 18...damn laws.
Anyways, I was going to do it the week before I got my tongue done, but I got my period and iIread that it hurts more then, so I had to wait another week. I decided to do it yesterday [September 20, 2003]because no one was going to be home for at least an hour, so I wouldn't get caught.
I put some ice on my nipple for a few minutes to make it hard. Once it was hard I got the needle and jewelry out. As I started pushing the needle in it hurt like a bitch and thats when I decided I'd rather use a 14G barbell instead of the 12G ring I had. I still can't get the ball in those stupid rings...I got the needle in enough so part of it was sticking out of the other side, and heard my cousins get home (I live with them). I was thinking: "oh shit", and ran into the bathroom with the barbell, got the needle outta my nipple and let it bleed for a few seconds while trying to put my barbell in.
I had to make the one hole a little bigger to fit the barbell in, but it was in there. So far its been a little sore. Mostly when I knock it against something though, but it has been totally worth it, I can't wait til it heals and I get my guy to come to Minnesota so we can play with it.

Gauge:14G...I didn't feel like pushing the needle the rest the way thru with the 12G so I switched
Purchased: Not sure, I had it with the rest of my piercing stuff...I used it for my tongue before, I think, probably got it from ebay

Aftercare: So far I've washed it with soap and water, but I am going to be going home and getting some sea salt
