Title: I'm warning you! I'm depressed as hell and have a needle!
Author: Stephanie
Complications: When switching from the safety pin to the stud, the stud got stuck and wouldn't go through all the way. It eventually went through. Currently I have a bump about the size of a small BB gun pellet
End Result: Not bad! Looks like it was done professionally
Happy with the Result: Very much thanks
Date Done: May 25, 2003
Story: I had been talking to my ex (that's never a really good thing), when all of a sudden I saw a safety pin in front of me. I took it and stuck it in my existent hole at the bottom of the lobe. I looked at it and I guessed it looked cool.

The clock in my room struck 2 am, and I was getting really bored and really fast. I stuck the safety pin in rubbing alcohol and kept it in there for about 10 minutes while I cruised around online. I cleaned my ear and marked it with a pen. I washed most of the pen off so you could barely see the mark to reduce ink poisoning. I lined up the pin and shoved.

I couldn't feel anything. As you can tell by the title, I was depressed. My depression bouts are amazing. When I'm depressed I make Indian tattoos at times too. I cut myself and add Indian ink. It heals and looks pretty cool. But that's a different story. Bottom line, I could only tell it was through when it gave and slid through. I only pierced one ear, because I thought both sides would look too natural.

I ran to the bathroom and looked at it. I took my piercing stud out from my cartilage piercing (it was healed, I just liked it in there best and I'm NOT gonna gauge my cartilage) and shoved it through when I took the pin out. It took about 10 minutes, but yet again, I couldn't feel a thing.

The next morning I disinfected a sewing needle and threaded fishing line through it so it could heal and wouldn't be so obvious. I was told by a pro that this would even make it heal faster.

So my Mum saw when I was in a concert playing my flute. She just about had a seizure. She told me to take it out, but I refused and she dealt with it.

And I LOVE it!
