Left:
Sophy, the head Chinese
teacher...typical of a lot of
young Taiwanese girls:
petite...beautiful...clean-cut...
studious...hardworking
and far too responisble for her
age: 21. no she's not a hippie-
wannabe, that's not a peace
sign, Taiwanese do that in
every Photo...it roughly
translates as "cool!" or "happy"
Right:
Eric...we arse around for an
hour and a half every wensday
...it's fun...we have a laugh.
Taiwanese parents put a huge
amount of pressure on thier
kids...a lot of these kids attend
extra music, maths or chinese
lessons as well...
Left and Right:
My CEI's...I see these kids
every day for 2 hours...it's
definately the most rewarding
of all the classes i teach...most
other classes are 3 hours a
week, so you dont get to know
the kids as well as i have with
these guys...they rule!
