We do appraisals for insurance purposes at reasonable rates. The shop keeps an extensive collection of reference materials to aid in identifying instruments, but our real expertise comes from years of travel and study. We see hundreds of instruments every year at festivals and auctions, in addition to the dozens which pass through the shop monthly. Our appraisals are recognized and accepted by instrument insurers nationwide.
