Pick Of The Week
By: Chris

Thursday, June 7---"The Friar's Club"

George is happy because he has a three month reprieve. The wedding is delayed until June (just in time for the end of the May sweeps and a cliffhanger!). Meanwhile he is also excited because Jerry is going to go out with Susan's best friend. He envisions their friendship in the future as being "Gatsby"-like. Jerry is trying to get into the Friars Club, but loses a jacket he "borrowed" for dinner there, at a performance of comedic jugglers that was "worked on" by Susan's friend. Kramer tries to duplicate the sleeping patterns of Da Vinci and falls asleep at some inopportune moments; one of which puts him put in the Hudson River. Peterman hires a deaf employee and Elaine suffers the consequences, when she gets loaded with some of his work. Trying to see how deaf he really is, Elaine comes on to him, which Peterman overhears and tries to help out their budding relationship.

This Week
George's gym coach back in High School. He would make fun of him and call him such names like "Can't Stand Ya." He would give George wedgies, sometimes atomic. Eventually was fired because of George rating on him. About 25 yrs later, George sees a homeless man sitting on the steps to the library. George thinks it could be his old gym coach! So one day he goes down to talk to him, the man says nothing. George starts to walk away and he gives George an ATOMIC wedgie. It is later found out that he had the book "Tropic of Cancer" that Jerry had checked out for 25 years.

Do you know who this is? If so E-mail

Remember the Time When...
By: Ivy

Elaine finds out Jerry is sleeping with his maid?

ELAINE: All right! You're foolin' around with your maid. That is a wise decision.
JERRY: Elaine, do you think I would go willy-nilly into a situation so obviously fraught with potential complications?
ELAINE: You are paying a woman to come to your house and sleep with you.
JERRY: No. I pay her to clean. The rest is--
ELAINE: What? A health plan?
JERRY: I was going to say, "Being a good host."
ELAINE: Oh-ho-ho. Oh.
JERRY: But the point is we have our personal relationship, and we have our work relationship. They're separate and, I think, some what sophisticated.
ELAINE: So you consider this a relationship?
JERRY: Yes, I do.
ELAINE: Oh. Have you been out?
JERRY: Yes, we have.
ELAINE: Where did you go?
JERRY: The store.
ELAINE: Mm! To get what?
JERRY: Stuff.
ELAINE: Cleaning supplies?
JERRY: And gum.
ELAINE: Oh. Well, there's nothin' more sophisticated than diddlin' the maid and then chewin' some gum.

Reader's Poll
By: Andy

Last Week's Question:
Ok, here's a simple poll. Just tell me this: Which is more Kramer- Giddy-up or Hoochie Mama? (And after you choose, give your best example of whichever one you chose).

giddy up ----kramer is bonkos and so is that phrase
[email protected]

I enjoy both, but I think the funniest one is when Kramer gets hit by the silly string and shakes his body back and forth yelling "Hoochie Mama."  That scene is funnier that any of Kramer yelling "Giddy-up."
[email protected]

giddy up is kramer because it reminds me of his rusty
[email protected]

Giddy Up, when the are about to go into the car in the episode, "The Garage" He sayd, Lets Giddy up up and it is so cool, I love how he says it
[email protected]

Giddy-up is more Kramer cause he uses it a lot.  Hoochie Mama was only used once and Frank Costanza used it too in that episode.  Giddy-up is ALL Kramer just as much as Get Out! is all Elaine.  One example of when Kramer says Giddy-up is when he was answering Jeopardy questions correctly and he kept saying it.

Which one are you?  Master of your domain, Lord of Manor, King of the County, or Queen of the Castle?

Stand Up
By: Chris

We all try and prevent ourselves from getting ripped off, we all think we're very clever, you know. We think we can out-think the crooks, you know. Go to the beach, go in the water, put your wallet in the sneaker, "who's gonna know ? What criminal mind could penetrate this fortress of security ?. I put it down by the toe, they never look there. They check the heels, they move on".

Why don't they put the pictures of the criminals on the postage stamps ? Let the postman look for him, he's out there walking around all day. He's got the uniform on, can't he do something ? "Ah, we got a letter for you here, Mr. Joh... hey, wait a second...!!!"

"Quote" Finisher/Locator
By: Andy

I have decided to change the concept of the quote finisher section slightly- thanks to [email protected]. I have decided to switch the concept of the quote finisher section from week to week. One week, I will indeed give you a quote to finish. But the next week, I'll give you the full quote and just ask which episode it came from. Then the following week I'll go back to a regular quote finisher, and so on.
This week you will be given half a quote.
Please finish the quote!

Last week's Quote Locator

Spoofs!

In "The Library," Jerry mentions to Mr. Bookman that he never keeps coffee in his house.  However, in "The Contest," Jerry does indeed have coffee in his house and does admit that he likes it.
([email protected])

Did you ever notice that most of the time it takes Jerry's visitors about 10 seconds to get up to his apartment?  And he lives on the 5th floor.  Plus Elaine even commented once that he has the slowest elevator in the city.  It's quite strange how they are able to get up there so fast.

Vinney's Picks (or No Pick)

In Memory of the late Perry Como
"Look older? You think this is a game? Is that what you think this is? I'm trying to give you a moral compass. You have no moral compass. You're going to walk into that courtroom, and the jury's gonna see a mean, nasty, evil George Costanza. I want 'em to see Perry Como. No one's going to convict Perry Como. Perry Como helps out a fat tub who's getting robbed. You think it's funny"? - Jackie Chiles

"I usually last about ten minutes on the stairmaster. Unless, of course, there's someone stretching in front of me in a leotard, then I can go an hour. That's why they call it the stairmaster. You get up there and you stare." - Jerry
