| Links: The links below are varied, and I've sorted them by category the best that I could. I have many interests, so this page will probably become relatively large. That's OK, I'm sure, as it will give people more things to find out about! I'll work on adding links to this page frequently just to keep things interesting. -Seii, Webmaster |
| Anime: |
|---|
| The Radical Dreamers - This is the site of the anime club that I helped to start. As a club, we RULE! We're pretty cool people, too. | http://www.animelyrics.com - I use this site all the time to find lyrics for the myriad Japanese songs that I like to download. The lyrics for Anime songs and J-Pop are all here, in Japanese romaji and usually translated to English, too. |
| http://www.animemusicvideos.org - Here you can find a listing of many different Anime Music Videos, or AMVs, that people have done by Title, Song, and many other categories. Check it out! | http://animewallpapers.com - Here's the place to show up if you're looking for nicely done wallpapers of your favorite anime characters. They seem to have a nice selection of animes, and there are too many for me to even attempt duplicating here. |
| Sakura-Con! - Here resides THE Northwest Anime Convention. Well, it is to me. I frequent their boards, and have been to this Con two years running now. | Cosplay.com - This is where you can find a lot of pictures of Cosplay, with pictures taken both professionally and by average everyday users. If you look under Eurobeat King's section, you'll even find Sakura Con pics! |
| http://www.bright.net/~nyla/animelaw.html - A site on the Laws of Anime, which I must say is rather accurate, if not completely so. | http://www.animefantasia.com - This is a great site to find out news about upcoming anime releases, but it has a special trick to it as well: if you go to the "AF Peer To Peer" section, you can sign up (free!) for a special add-on server to WinMX version 2.6 that will allow you to download from 2000+ users worth of anime at any given time! YAY! |
| Emulation: |
|---|
| http://www.zophar.net - This is Zophar's Domain, probably the best emulation site on the web today. They have all kinds of emulators, save states, and video game music players. It's all freeware, that I know of. | All your base are belong to us - Official Video Site - OK, so the may not be specifically emulation. However, for those of you who have heard the phrase "All your base are belong to us" and wondered where it came from, here's a great place to find out! |
| File Sharing: |
|---|
| http://www.kazaa.com - Kazaa, a file sharing program. I recommend this one for music, as you'll find a surprising amount of it here, and pretty fast too. | http://www.winmx.com - Use this for video files, or more specifically, use version 2.6 in conjunction with the AnimeFantasia, listed above, to obtain gobs of anime. |
| http://www.neo-modus.com - Home of Direct Connect, currently housing over (ehh, I can't keep track ^_^;; ). Truly amazing. | http://www.filetopia.org - Filetopia seems to be based a little more on themed channels, much like Direct Connect. I haven't used this one much, but I have heard good reports about it. |
| Multi User Domains (MUDs): |
|---|
| Lensmoor - For those of you who know what a MUD is (it's basically a text-based RPG for those of you who don't), this is a really good one, based in a fantasy medieval-era world, that has grown so customized that it is almost it's own engine by now. Though I haven't played on it in some time, I highly recommend it. |
| Livejournal: |
|---|
| And as promised, my LJ as well. Don't do anything that'd make me turn it Friends Only! :-P Seii's LJ |
| That's all for now, but check back later. I'm sure to find more things! |
