Voted by his Gopher teammates as the club�s most determined player in 1978 & 1979. he played three seasons under Herb Brooks following a great prep career at Mounds View High School in Minnesota. Scored 45 goals at U of M but his main value to club was his all-around play and total dedication both on and off the ice. Drafted by Buffalo Sabres in third round of 1978 amateur draft. In high school he was selected All-American, all-state, all-conference and voted Mounds View top student-athlete in 1976. He also won prep letters in tennis and soccer and was a National Honor Society winner. |
