| The Lament Company and Planet Groove "Stories of the Street" March, 2006 |

| The Lament Company, directed by Derrick Woods, performed a musical variety show in the upstairs room at Planet Groove, on Mary Street in downtown Waycross, on March 9, 10, and 11, 2006. The show is called Stories of the Street. A very talented group performed a wide variety of music, all done very well, making for a very enjoyable show. The show featured the singing and acting talent of Derrick Woods, Lindsey Williamson, Pamela Davis, Tiffany Smith, Chris Jeffords, Lizzy West, and Adam Waring. The Seladora Dance Company performed under the direction of Ashley Bennett and also featured the talent of Jenni Smith, Beth McCarthy, and Christen Maxwell. Guitar was played by Dusty Moye and Dave Griffin. Songs in this show included Skid Row, Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Maybe This Time, Tower of Song, Stop Draggin' My Heart Around, Henry Lee, My Immortal, I'll Cover You, The Weeping Song, I Know Him So Well, Don't You Want Me Baby, Nobody's Side, White Wedding, I'm So Lonely I Could Cry, When Doves Cry, You Raise Me Up, and Seasons of Love. The show also included very nice instrumental guitar music and a poetry reading. The Lament Company is a very talented group of young people who put together a wonderful collection of very well done music, along with great acting and costumes.
