Complete destruction,
A wall higher than ever,
My soul climbing,
Falling,
I can't keep trying.
My hands are bloody,
My fingers numb,
My mind is useless.
I fall back to the ground again.
Laying on my back,
Breathing faster and faster,
A black veil is coming over my eyes,
The world's colors are faded to black,
As I lie there broken.
I look through my eyes one last time at the world around me,
Watching everything disappear,
My life covered in dust and cobwebs.
Finally unable to even hold my head up,
I look to the sky,
And maybe it's the head trauma,
And the loss of blood,
My mind.
But I see an angel in the sky above me,
It's white shape dulled,
Sullied by my world,
As this angel looks down on me from great heights,
I reach out my hand,
Knowing that I will never reach.
